Great salon, great vibes....loved the people!

I've been to two of the stylists that work here. Both have been amazing. Teagan was my first stylist. She gave me my first pixie cut & I'm forever changed because of that. I then went to Phoebe who has mostly done trims but I feel gorgeous after each one. Everyone else who works there that I've interacted with have been amazingly kind & talented. The ambience of the salon is awesome (especially if you're a recovering emo).

Teagan is not only amazing and hair cut AND color (going blonde, so lightening), but I knew she was the stylist for me when she didnt try to put a bunch of junk in my hair before drying it OR didnt try to sell me a bunch of products. She never has. And seriously, finding a good stylist that clicks with you/your hair is almost as impossible as finding the right partner! There are other salons in SM that you can pay $300 for the full blonde experience but nah, Ill stick with Top Image where they keep it real!

i have asian hair which means its SO HARD to lighten. it always turns orange and stays that way. i bleached myself at home about 3 times and gave up and was referred by kirsten from sally beauty to go see shelly here. SHELLY IS AMAZING!! the girls here are sweet and shelly told me she made all her prices reasonable and honest bc thats the kind of treatment shed want which is so considerate. i have NEVER and i mean NEVER seen my orange ass bleached hair turn to such a nice ashy gray. AND she gave me what i wanted with a beautiful color melt i do have to say that i did pre lighten my hair before going so if you dont get what you want the first time, be patient bc bleaching is a PROCESS. but OMG T18 by wella could NEVER tone like shelly can.

Ok guys, THIS IS THE PLACE YALL NEED TO GO to get your hair done. I'm on cloud 9 right now because of how good my hair turn out. Allison was super great, knowledgeable and know what she is doing. I have been wanting to dye my hair silver for the longest time and she has made it happens !!!!!
To get to this silver, I did 2 bleach sessions with Allison. My hair was solid black originally so it cant be lighten enough with just 1 session. Allison talked to me about the process, let me know what we are dealing with and what I should expect.

I have lived outside of Austin for the past four years and have struggled to find someone who was skilled and didnt break the bank. So, I have been going back to Chicago to get my haircut every five weeks . The problem was that I have been going to the same stylist since I was 13 and im now 49. Finally got tired of flying to get my haircut every month.
I have tried a few places but nothing seemed to pan out. Had a few recommendations from others in the area but the problem was the stylist either cost 300 for a cut and color or had no idea what they were doing.
I finally decided to do the research on my own. I knew the minute I walked into the salon I made a good choice. Everything about Top Image reminded me of my stylist in Chicago. Great prices!!! And highly skilled stylist. Love love love my haircut. Already have my appointment for next month. It only took me 4 years but I finally found a great stylist. For the past 22 years, my mother has always cut my hair and I've gone to multiple places for color. I've never been to any hair salon that wasn't in my home town so I was already nervous about going someone new. I easily made an appointment online and then met Teagan. She instantly made me feel welcome by asking me what I wanted. I have curly hair so my biggest concern was how short my hair would be and the entire team Teagan was cutting my hair she kept double checking then length and apologized for being a perfectionist but I LOVED that she was a perfectionist because it made me trust her easily. My hair hasn't been this short since 2010 and I've been so used to having long hair, but I wanted to get rid of all of my dyed dead hair, and now I have short hair but it's healthy and natural and just what I wanted.
Everyone at the salon was so nice, I will definitely be back for other services!

Wonderful haircut by Esme!! It's rare that you ask for a trim and the stylist ACTUALLY gives you a trim instead of lobbing a few inches off - she did a fantastic job. She kept the general shape of my hair and layers that I wanted, too, and then a face frame which looks so good! The salon was clean and the other staff were so welcoming. Great haircut experience!

I'm a student at Texas State and found out about this salon while I was flipping through the coupon book. I decided to give it a try, and have been so happy I did! This place is my new jam from now on. Alison did my hair. Absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! Shes super professional. My head was burn a bit after bleaching ( due to my dry scalp). She was able to fit me in right the next day for 2nd round of tone so that it will remove the rest of the yellow and orange tone from my hair. I have got so many compliments. Im glad I decided to give Top Image a try. Highly recommended !!!!

I'm absolutely in love with my new hair!! As someone who has never gotten her hair professionally dyed, I was definitely worried about how the results would turn out. But Allison Wimberly did AMAZING on my partial balayage, and even did the bottom half of my hair ombr to give it that look. I got my hair done by Allison yesterday and I love it! I got an ashy blonde bayalage and it looks great. She did exactly what I asked and actually made it look better than what I pictured! I went in for a cut and balayage. Alison took care of me and she was great. She's very sweet, knowledgeable, and has been doing hair since she was young.

My only complaint would be that I scheduled an appointment for 12:00. I showed up early at 11:40 and was not seen till almost 2:30... I took off from work for the appt and wasn't given any discount or anything.
But other than the long wait I had a good experience.

So I can assure u I don’t like anyone doing my hair I do my own normally cuz of cost and all. However this woman has impressed me. I am getting mine done on Wednesday. I have no doubts it’s gonna be amaze!!! I currently have “trumpish” on top and platinum on the ends. Sometimes I just ask her to do what she wants, which is never a disappointment. Highly recommended. Very cute Tiffany's chic atmosphere. Today I received a great cut, color, and partial highlight from Teagan. I came in yesterday with my hair looking a mess (at at-home hair dye disaster) and was trying to get in anywhere I could to get it fixed. I was able to get an appointment with her and I am SO glad I did! I'm moving out of the area soon, but I will be back to get a touch up from her before I leave! I definitely recommend!!

I came across Sonya at Top Salon because Ben at Premier cuts butchered my hair earlier that morning. I was in desperate need of the mess to be sorted. Called them up, told them the situation, and they fit me in! When I got there, Sonya was ready for me! She assessed the damage and started her magic. Earlier that day I asked Ben for a trim with long layers framing my face. What I got was one inch off the back (behind the ears) and 3 inches from the hair in front of my face. It wasn't blended. Just one length. By the end of the fix she had blended in the horror to suit my needs. I got to keep all of my length in back and it was blended so that it looked very nice in front. I highly recommend Top Image salon for anyone who isn't quite sure where to go for hair care. They are great with long hair!!!

Then I came to Top Image and Shelly was AMAZING!! She took the time to make sure she didn't cut off too much hair and the cut I have now is one of the best I've ever had!
